Ryan Lawler Finishes Seventh At Lanier's Saturday of Speed
So far this year, the PASS South Super Late Model Series has been Ryan Lawler’s personal playground.  In four previous 2007 season starts, Lawler has two wins, a runner-up and an eighth-place finish.  Because of that, Lawler found himself in the PASS South points lead.

The 150-lap Saturday of Speed at Lanier National Speedway wasn’t as easy on Lawler, but he still made the best of it, starting and finishing seventh.
“We were out here to win,” said Lawler.  “I knew I didn’t have anything for them to win.  I came in to the pits and tried to make an adjustment to see if we could drive back up through there.  I am pretty disappointed with the run.  Seventh isn’t what we came out here to run.”

Lawler also found himself sitting backwards at one point.

“My car was a little tight and I guess someone shoved their nose in there under me and caught me in the left rear.  I guess they put too much wheel down there.  The last four or five races we didn’t have a mark on the car.
Ryan finished seventh at Lanier National.
We got one on every corner of this thing this time.   But I had a good time.  I had to work for that one.”

Ryan will get back to racing quickly when he competes in his second career ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Nashville Superspeedway (TN) this Saturday, August 11th.  The Nashville ARCA event will be televised live at 3:30pm ET on SPEED.

Lawler's next PASS South event comes September 29th at Hickory Motor Speedway, where Ryan has won the last two PASS South events.

“We run pretty good there so I am pretty pumped up to go back there.  I am pretty sure I am still leading the points.  All we can do is go back to Hickory.
